Beehives in Almeria targeted by thieves

THE Young Farmers Association in Almeria has reported that beehives are being stolen in the province.

This, and the lack of rain in the past months, means that the number of available hives has dropped which will mean there will be less honey and pollen about.

Local beekeepers are afraid that their profits will drop seriously due to these problems.
