THE five-star Jumeirah Port Soller Resort and Spa is set to open on Tuesday April 24.
This is the first hotel the Dubai-based chain has opened in Spain and its first luxury leisure resort in Europe.
Set atop a cliff in the north of Mallorca, the resort boasts 120 rooms and suites in eight independent buildings, all with large terraces and balconies.
They offer views of Port de Soller and the UNESCO Heritage Tramuntana mountain range on the one side and the Mediterranean Sea on the other.
The Jumeirah Group is part of Dubai Holding, owned by the Dubai Government.
Possibly the group’s most iconic hotel is the Burj Al Arab in Dubai, which is the fourth-tallest hotel in the world and is built in the shape of a sail of a ship.
