THE walk through the Gata de Gorgos Circuit was described on the Costa Blanca Mountain Walkers website as moderate with some rough terraine.
Recent heavy rains meant that some of the paths were blocked by small pools of water which were crossed by dropping boulders into the pond for the walkers to step over.
