Mijas Burro-Taxi drivers smarten up

THE 29 ‘donkey-taxi’ drivers in Mijas are now wearing their new uniforms, in accordance with a local law.

The aim is to improve the appearance of a unique service in the town which is one of its main tourist attractions.

They will wear the typical Andalucian cap and a brown waistcoat, and are banned from smoking while visiting the town with passengers on the donkeys or in carts.
