Burst water pipe delays A-7 motorway drivers

A BURST water pipe caused extensive damage to the access road to the A-7 motorway outside Opencor in Riviera del Sol (Mijas).

Mijas Council workers were able to reduce the effects of the burst pipe, but one of the lanes of the A-7 heading towards Marbella had to be closed, leading to tailbacks.

Repairs are being carried out on the pipe but the water supply was not cut off at any time.
