A MAN has been sentenced to 11 years in prison for strangling a woman who was with him in a Marbella hotel in April 2010.
He will also have to pay her family €240,000 in compensation.
The two were having an affair and had allegedly rowed earlier at a disco when she said she wanted to leave with another man.
Six days later, he handed himself in to the National Police.
