Attacker ‘lynched’ by locals after stabbing

A MAN was reporterfly lynched by residents of Alhaurin el Grande after stabbing another.

Guardia Civil are investigating the motive of the attack against the 47-year-old local man who was stabbed in the stomach by a man wearing a balaclava.

A Local Police officer who was attempting to protect the attacker was hit by one of the objects thrown by the victim’s neighbours. The victim was admitted to the Intensive Care Unit at Malaga University Hospital.

The attacker was also taken to hospital with head injuries although he remained under arrest.
