THE six Infoca firefighters under investigation for allegedly starting a fire which destroyed 800 hectares in the Alto Valle del Genal and Sierra Bermeja areas last month have been released with charges.
While four of the firefighters gave statements in court, another 150 members of the Junta de Andalucia Infoca team gathered outside the courthouse in Ronda to show their support for the men, who are accused of accidentally starting the blaze while burning refuse after clearing the sides of the road.
