Man sentenced for stealing from tourists in La Herradura

A COURT in Motril has sentenced a man to two years in prison for stealing from a couple of tourists while they were sleeping in a hotel in La Herradura, Almuñecar.

They climbed up the wall and in through the window on June 4, 2008, and stole their ID, credit cars, €10,000 in cash and €3,500 in foreign currency.

He will also have to pay the legal costs and €13,500 in compensation to the couple.
