LYNETTE STEVENS is still welcoming people who would like to join her Family History Group which started in Albir last week.
It is every Wednesday, 11am at Taverna La Vida, Calle Ruperto Chapi 9 in Albir.
Lynette has eight years experience of researching family history and has started the group for help and discussion on all aspects of genealogy whether you are a beginner or have more experience.
She has lots of literature relating to the subject and a wealth of knowledge which she is eager to share with others. “As far as we know this is the first group of its kind on the Costa Blanca and certainly in this area,” said Lynette, who is only charging €5 a week just to cover her expenses.
“For anyone looking for a great hobby or just to come along and see what you can find out about your ancestors,” she said.
Email Lynette on lyngen2@gmail.com or turn up at Taverna La Vida where you will be “given a warm welcome and where proprietor Sherilee makes a great cup of coffee,” said Lynette.
