Antonio Banderas to play Pablo Picasso in ’33 days’

MALAGA actor Antonio Banderas will play Pablo Picasso in a new film. ‘33 Days’ a film by Carlos Saura, covers the days in which the artist created one of his best-known works, the Guernica.

Banderas is of a similar age as Malaga-born Picasso was when he painted the Guernica, and says he has always been fascinated by the artist, who was born just four blocks away from Banderas’s own birthplace.
