SPAIN biggest annual international contemporary art fair, ARCO Madrid, takes place this week.
This year the trade show will gather 200 international galleries providing a golden chance for collectors to view a diverse showcase of modern art.
This year more than 200,000 people are expected to attend the fair, Madrid’s Regional Director for Museums, Archives and Libraries, Isabel Rosell said.
For the first time there will also be an ‘AfterARCO’ programme that will take the art fair and its activities into the city.
Arco runs at the IFEMA in Madrid, occupying pavilions 8 and 10 on Wednesday February 15 to 19 (open to the public Friday to Sunday). Tickets €30-40.
