Dave Buchanan welcomed visitors to the new charity shop on his unicycle, with APSA president, Dianne Reid (left) and manageress Jackie Roberts.
The new APSA animal charity shop on Avenida Lepanto in Albox, opened last week with a unicyclist welcoming customers.
The shop was busy all morning said APSA volunteer Liz Carey.
The shop has a boutique section with good quality clothes and accessories, and there’s a car park next door.
The prize draw raised more than €700.
Last year the charity had a stall at Los Llanos market, held a pantomime and did fashion shows to raise funds for homing and neutering dogs.
Shop manageress Jackie Roberts was pleased with the opening day, and praised the volunteers “who had somehow managed to get the shop ready on time”.
