Spanair’s bankruptcy affected eight flights in El Altet airport, Alicante.
The company announced it would cease trading on Friday, but the Spanair office at the airport has remained open to possible customer complaints.
Affected passengers will need to change their flights to other companies that operate from El Altet, including Iberia, Ryanair, Air Nostrum and Vueling.
Passengers who had bought flights to Algeria may have more difficulty, since Spanair was the only airline that flew to Algiers from Alicante, although Air Algerie has a route from Alicante to Oran.
