GRANADA’S taxis will offer tourists the choice of nine routes throughout the province which will visit areas such as Salobreña, Almuñecar, Sierra Nevada or the Alpujarra. The routes, which have been planned by the Provincial Tourism Board and the Granada Taxi Union in collaboration with the Junta de Andalucia, will cost between €29 and €125 per trip (not per passenger) depending on the distance and are aimed at visitors who lack the time to plan trips via more traditional methods. The price does not include entrance to monuments and museums or meals. The taxi drivers offering the service will have special training in languages and customer care. More at www.taxitourgranada.com
