200,000 attend Fitur tourism fair

MORE than 200,000 people attended Fitur, the five day International Tourism Trade Fair, held in Madrid.

This year the fair was inaugurated by Don Felipe de Borbon and Doña Letizia Ortiz, the Prince and Princess of Asturias.

Fitur 2012 counted with 10,100 exhibitors from 167 countries, one more country than last year, according to organisers.

Many Costa Blanca towns were represented at the fair.
