ALMOST 400 people took part in a peaceful protest in El Puche against the death of a Moroccan man, 26, who was allegedly stabbed to death by a minor.
The police were present in the area, but were not needed to solve any conflicts in the area, which is home to many different nationalities, who generally live in peace.
The National Police arrested a 16-year-old boy charged with the stabbing, which allegedly occurred when the victim, who had a criminal record, was seen near a car which had had the front left side door forced open and which belongs to one of the detainee’s relatives.
The minor was arrested within 12 hours.
However, the victim’s family claims it was not the minor who killed him, and maintains that he had been attacked several months earlier.
Further arrests are expected.
