NERJA Town Hall has given the go-ahead for the town’s third municipal car park which will cost some €3 million.
The car park will have 200 spaces on three levels and will be located near Burriana beach.
The Councillor for Infrastructures, the conservative Partido Popular’s Antonio Garcia, said that the work will take around 18 months.
He also pointed out that they would be paid for by the central government.
Nerja has 733 spaces in underground car parks in Plaza de España, near the Balcon de Europa, and 273 in another car park near the Verano Azul Park.
