THE Javea Department of Infrastructure, Planning and the Environment got off on the right foot when a token hole was excavated to represent the start of the Plan Confianza at a cost of around €2.5 million.
This long awaited programme will officially commence in January with a deadline of five months to completion.
The contract will cover the asphalting of a wide aspect of roads and paths ranging from within the historic centre and port to developments situated in the Montgo, Balcon al Mar Portitxol and the Arenal to improve urban quality, aesthetics and comfort for drivers and pedestrians in areas that have been neglected for many years.
As stated by Javea Mayor José Chulvi, the plan meets an important need for the municipality whose public roads and paths have required
