CLEAN TURRE: But for how long?
I AM glad to report that most of Turre, Mojacar and surrounding areas are looking much cleaner and litter-free to what they were a month ago.
However, I am still finding a few extra-large items dumped alongside rubbish bins, including mattresses, cupboards, litre paint cans and folded down cardboard.
I even came across a 3ft square box full of bottles right next to bottle bank!
What’s wrong with people? Bend your, back use arms, get your hands dirty, lift the lid on the bin and place things into it, it’s that easy!
There are over 400, yes 400+, dotted around the roads and streets!
If you do have any over-sized items which you want to dispose of, then please telephone 902 027 054 or 902 442 250.
“There should be someone available to speak to you in English. That person will take your details and arrange for your unwanted items to be collected,” the Mojacar mayor said lon Spectrum Radio last week. Please keep collecting – rubbish that is!
