PALMA BEACH: There were 165 serious incidents on beaches in Palma de Mallorca this year.
THIS year, 27 out of the 31 people who have died on beaches in the Balearic Islands did so in Mallorca.
This is nearly a third more than last year’s fatalities, according to recent official data. Conversely, health care services have revived 32 people who nearly drowned this year, a third more than last years 21 people saved.
