Group created to back plans for Mallorca theme park

A GROUP has been created to collect signatures to support plans for a €300 million theme park in Mallorca.

The park proposed by Danish registered Theme Park Group ApS could create as many as 2,000 much-needed jobs.

The ‘Group for the Promotion of Employment in Mallorca’ is collecting signatures via the internet, mainly on social networking sites, to encourage investors to go ahead with the project, and aim to get 7,900 signatures in a month.

Marketing Director of the Theme Park Group, Deane Sinclair told EWN: “we have already received over 2,000 emails from the private and business community of Mallorca. Obviously we are pleased that this initiative has been started by people that genuinely understand that our project will help boast the local economy, create new employment and attract new visitors to the islands. Our project will do this and much more!”
