DESPITE the January 2 ban on smoking in bars and restaurants, the number of establishments using terraces in the Valencia Region increased by just 7 per cent this year.
This is far below the national increase of 39.5 per cent, despite the Region now making up more than 10 per cent of the 100,000 terraces nationally.
