A 45-YEAR-OLD British resident of Benalmadena was arrested after he was allegedly found carrying drugs hidden in mobile phones and a lighter.
He was caught at a routine police checkpoint with 60.25 grammes of cocaine, 104 grammes of hashish and 5.25 grammes of MDMA. The police also seized €1,948 in cash, a vehicle and 16 mobile phones.
The detainee, who had a record for similar crimes, was remanded to prison, police said.
