Power cut off at Huelva town hall buildings

ELECTRICITY company Endesa has cut off the supply of 10 municipal buildings in Huelva because the city hall has failed to pay the bills.

Endesa defended the move saying that the buildings are ‘not essential’ for the correct operation of local services. They include residents’ association and a bullfighting club.

The company said that until the city hall came up with a solution to its growing debt with them, the electricity would remain off, and they did not rule out cutting it off at other buildings.

The city hall has constantly failed to pay the bills or comply with the agreement to reduce their debt, according to Press reports.
