NINETEEN paedophiles in Malaga have attended sexual education therapy workshops to avoid prison.
The workshops began in 2010 promoted by the Computer Crimes Prosecutor for people who were sentenced for owning or distributing child pornography, and are carried out by psychologists and psychiatrists, although the prosecutor’s office wants more specialized professionals to deal with these cases.
They are only offered to those who are sentenced to less than two years in prison who have no prior convictions.
Once they start the workshops, their sentence is suspended for five years in which they mustn’t commit any crimes and must attend them
