FORTY scouts, explorers and leaders from the ‘1st Fuengirola Scout Troop’ took part in this year’s ‘Jamboree On The Internet’ (JOTI) event at Club La Costa.
JOTI is an annual event in which scouts from all over the world ‘connect’ with fellow members over the internet in designated Chatrooms.
“We spoke with more than 100 countries beating last year’s record,” scout leader Steve Lippe told EWN. “Scouts spoke to fellow members as far away as Chile, Venezuela and Japan.”
