Desperate search for children missing in Cordoba

NATIONAL POLICE are searching for two children, aged six and two, who were reported missing from a park in Cordoba city at almost 7pm on last Saturday afternoon.
The brother and sister were with their father when he claims that he took his eyes off them for a second and they “just disappeared”.
He picked them up from the house where they live with their mother, from whom he has been separated for two weeks, on Friday evening, and took them to his parents’ home in Cordoba, where he is originally from.
The last time the children were seen by anyone but their father was at midday on Saturday, and although he is collaborating with the investigation and has not been charged, the police have issued statements saying that his story “does not add up”, although they have not ruled out any theories.
The Guadalquivir River and areas surrounding the park where they allegedly disappeared has been searched.
