Malaga Provincial Government to provide money for town hall wages

MALAGA Provincial Government has decided to make €2.4 million available to town halls throughout the province to help them pay staff and providers.
The President, Elias Bendodo, explained that the amount was part of the 2011 Coordination Programme and to access the funds, towns which require help will not have to justify their need.
An agreement has also been reached by political parties Partido Popular, PSOE and Izquierda Unida for the Provincial Collection Board to also create a special fund to grant loans to town halls so they can pay their staff, and the Junta de Andalucia reportedly has similar plans. Provincial Government to provide money for town hall wages
