THE Euskadi Literary Prize for a Basque language work has been awarded to convicted terrorist, Spanish newspaper ABC reported.
Joseba Sarrionandia whose whereabouts are not known, was serving a 27-year sentence for being a member of the ETA terrorist group and escaped from the Martutene prison in San Sebastian in 1985 in a loud speaker belonging to a singer who had given a concert at the jail.
