DURING a monitoring campaign, Benidorm police discovered that 26 per cent of passengers in cars did not use safely controls in their cars properly.
The majority were the misuse of seat belts and child seats that did not meet the specified weight and size. Between September 12 and 18,217 vehicles were checked.
