TURRE Town Hall says it will go to court if a solution is not found to pay 24 people who carried out an employment workshop in the town.
The workshop began in April and the town hall complains that the Junta de Andalucia Employment Department has not provided the money for staff and material, which means the 24 people haven’t been paid for July and August.
The town hall claims it has received nothing but seemingly good intentions from the council for the past two months and find it impossible to speak directly to the councillor.
A spokesperson said that “bureaucratic justifications” are no good because the problems justifying other grants from the Junta were inherited from the former government and will be solved.
