A 26-YEAR-OLD man in Granada was arrested for threatening to kill his ex-wife, his children and his current partner.
He allegedly forced her to live in the same house as his ex-wife, who had a restraining order against him and whom he also abused. The two children he had with his wife were also retained against their will in the house.
The situation was discovered when his current partner reported him to the police. She claimed he forced her to give him money and threatened to kill her if she disobeyed.
The officers found he had a record for abuse and a restraining order against him.
They surrounded his house as they had information that he had a gun and could be extremely violent. When they asked him to come out, the only response they got was the sound of a gun being loaded.
They negotiated with him for an hour until he handed himself in, during which time, he threatened to kill his ex-wife and their children.
When police entered the house they found that the gun, which he had hidden in the washing machine, was a fake.
The man was remanded to prison.
