A MAN who residents in Ronda had reported for allegedly retaining their children has now threatened to set fire to their vehicles.
The resident of the Olivar de las Monjas district allegedly removed all fire extinguishers and took them home with him, before threatening to set fire to all the cars in the building’s underground car park. Scared residents moved their cars and called the police.
The residents also say they are afraid for to let their children out alone, since the man allegedly retained six children, aged 7 -12, against their will in his home for 40 minutes, claiming he was a police officer.
He was questioned by the police and later released as they did not consider his behaviour to be that of a paedophile.
