SMARTPHONE giant RIM has officially announced streaming service BlackBerry Messenger (BBM) Music.
This new package aims to make music social, with users able to share playlists with friends for a small monthly fee. Fifty tracks a month can be accessed from millions of tracks offered up by major music labels.
One can then change up to 25 tracks every month. Every BBM friend who subscribes to BBM Music can share their 50 tracks with each other, giving potentially thousands of tracks each month.
A timeline shows recent updates from BBM Music friends so users can see what new songs have been added and which have been taken away.
Offline syncing allows users to listen to songs even when there is no reception.
