VILAJOYOSA Town Hall has asked for citizen’s collaboration after vandals have been damaging the Marta Baldo sports courts in recent weeks.
Some parts of the artificial grass areas have been torn and burnt, rubbish left right next to the bins, fences and benches broken, etc.
“We will be repairing the damages, but ask that if citizens see suspision activity that they call the local police, or even my mobile,” Sports Councillor Pedro Ramis said.
“We must work together to resolve this situation and ensure that those responsible for these vandalous acts be brought before the law. These facilities are for everybody’s use and we must defend and look after it.” Other measures to be implemented is a greater police presence and the installation of security cameras.
