HOTEL occupancy in Alicante Province in July was 6.9 per cent higher than the same period last year, reaching 81.5 per cent, according to hospitality association Hosbec.
Benidorm reach 90 per cent occupancy, which is the most favourable data in the last four years in the municipality. Five-star hotels recorded an average occupancy of 68.1 per cent.
Brits were the most numerous tourists to the Alicante Province, followed by the Nordic countries and France in third place.
