Man found guilty of murdering woman who called him “queer”

A MAN in Huelva has been found guilty of killing a woman in an abandoned house in February 2009 while they were having sex.

The accused, who was an unofficial car park attendant, met the woman the month before as they coincided at the soup kitchen where they both ate and at the bus station. Both times they met, the woman, who had a slight mental problem and depression, called him a “queer”.

On the day she died, they met again and he proposed they have sex at the abandoned house where he had been living. She accepted, and while they were in the act, she once again called him the same name, so he put his arm around her neck from behind and strangled her. She had been away from her home for 24 hours and was very weak, having even fainted in the street earlier that day.
