THE Xabia International College End of Year Celebration and Prize-giving took place at Javea Parador. Primary school children and parents watched musical presentations and entertainment provided by the children, including the songs ‘I have a dream’ and ‘Only you’ by the choir and the Japanese Sakura and Fan Dance per formed by Year 1.
Year 6 spoke of their memories of the school and hopes for the future, and sang their rendition of ‘When I leave this school’ based on the famous Lennon/McCartney composition ‘When I’m 64’.
For an end of term treat pupils from Years 7 and 8 at Xabia International College had hours fun on bikes as part of their PE lesson, all sponsored by Mr. Casamatta of ‘Funny Bikes’.
The students were allocated to one, two or three seated bikes and then cycled in convoy to the Port and back… a real spectacle of colour and laughter.
