Malaga wants to look at its best for visitors

Several parts of Malaga City will be spruced up as the council prepares for the 700,000 cruise ship passengers expected this year alone.

The Economy and Tourism Councillor, Carolina España, took a tour of the city to see it from the point of view of a tourist and detect deficiencies and areas which can be improved upon. The Plaza de la Marina, Plaza de la Constitucion, Calle Larios, the entrance to the Alcazaba, the Cathedral and Picasso and Carmen Thyssen Museum will undergo improvements.

A tourist office will also open in the Plaza de la Marina.
