THREE people died and two were injured in two accidents caused by a ‘kamikaze’ driver who was heading in the wrong direction on the AP-4 motorway in Dos Hermanas, Sevilla. The car heading the wrong direction crashed head-on into a lorry. It burst into flames and the driver was killed immediately, while the lorry driver was unhurt.
Due to this accident, a 4×4 vehicle stopped on the road, but the driver of the car behind was unable to prevent a collision, which pushed the vehicle off the road, where it flipped over, killing the 70-year-old driver and his 37-year-old son.
The occupants of the car, a man and a woman both in their twenties, were taken to hospital with slight injuries.
Guardia Civil are investigating the circumstances of the accident.
