The spice of life

ASIAN STORE TORREVIEJA is a shop with a very wide variety of herbs, spices, sauces and an array of ingredients from around the world. They recently celebrated their one year anniversary and look forward offering the ‘spice of life’ for many years to come. Following customer requests, they have expanded their stock to include natural teas and honey and are planning to include a wide range of fresh herbs, vegetables and exotic fruit.

An expansion of the frozen foods range is also in the pipeline, as is a wider selection of none food products including rice steamers, massala dabbas and balti dishes.

They also do a lot of business through their internet shop.

On it there is plenty of information about the shop and the products on sale plus a coupon to use and loads of recipes as well as natural remedies for various ailments; many sent in by customers.

The online shop has opened recently, so anyone who cannot get to the shop for any reason can see what they stock and have goods sent, delivered or reserved.

“For us customer participation is all important so whenever someone asks us for a product we do not currently stock or that they cannot find we do our best to source it for them and try to stock it, where possible,” said owner Mansoor.

“We must say some items are extremely difficult to find, let alone make available in the shop,” he added.

“Unfortunately finding us appears to be a difficult task for most-we are at the start of the industrial estate on the opposite side of the N332 to the Habaneras shopping centre, facing the Aquopolis water park,” said Mansoor.

“There is a nice map on the website, try Google Maps, or give them a call for directions and not to worry, there is plenty of parking,” he added.
