Estepona cracks down on street drinking

ALTHOUGH drinking in the street has been banned for almost two years, last weekend alone, Local Police in Estepona made 12 reports against youths found drinking outside. The police carry out periodic inspections of areas where youths tend to gather to drink in the town since residents complained over the noise and rubbish left in the area. Fines can range between €30 and €300.
