People in Balearics second least adventurous at work

ONLY 27 per cent of workers in the Balearic Islands would be willing to move to another country for a job, according to the study International Labour Movement by human resources consultancy Randstad. Only people in the Rioja Region were less adventurous with only 20 per cent up for the challenge.

The national average was 47 per cent of workers willing to move abroad. Broken down, the national figure was 62 per cent amongst unemployed people and 38 per cent of those currently in employment.

The most opportunistic region was Navarre with 70 per cent of people up for the challenge of a job in another country. They were followed by the Andalucians of which 56 per cent would move abroad.

While 58 per cent of men would be willing to work outside Spain, only 42 per cent of women were.
