THE price of petrol continues to rise, and the €1.30 per litre or more it has reached, has stopped many people from travelling by car over Easter. Prices are at least 20 cents higher than they were the same time last year, and have almost doubled in the past two years.
According to the Ministry of Industry, Tourism and Commerce, the average prices for diesel in Almeria over Easter were around €1.313, while petrol was at €1.339.
An average tank of 50 litres now costs more than €22 more to fill than it did just two years ago.
