Probe into brothel next door to La Cala school

A ‘BROTHEL’ has allegedly opened just a stone’s throw away from a state school in La Cala de Mijas, opposition party leader in Mijas said. This was revealed in an email from Partido Popular Mayoral candidate for Mijas Angel Nozal where he submitted photographs of the alleged “brothel opened six metres from the Jardines de la Butibamba School.”

One of the bosses at the club, ‘Plan B – Private Club’, Dominique Pollet, told EWN the club is not a brothel, stressing it is a only “strip tease and lap dancing club.”

But parents suspect that this is more than just a place to have a drink, and classified ads seeking “beautiful girls to work every night with free luxury accommodation and very good wages” they say, supports this theory.

Ismael, a member of the school’s Parents Association at the school told Onda Cero: “I am a surveyor and we have investigated with the Planning Department and (the club’s) building permit is nowhere to be found.”

Meanwhile, Mijas Town Hall has opened an investigation following complaints by parents regarding the nightclub, called Plan B.

The town hall says will have to see if the activity for which the club was given a license is the same thing that is being carried out inside from 10pm every night from Monday to Saturday.

Municipal regulations stipulate that it is banned to “offer, solicit, negotiate or accept sexual services” at less than 200 metres from schools, although this is referring to doing so in public areas.
