ROQUETAS DE MAR town hall plans to continue to be tough on animal owners who allow their pets to defecate in public areas. There are more than 1,000 animals in Roquetas de Mar, generating some 18,000 kilos of excrement every year and compromising the cleanliness of the town.
Many owners don’t abide by the rules, so the town hall has decided to remind them what they are and told the Local Police to crack down on anyone who fails to do so.
Fines are less than €30.
