Marihuana cake youths admitted to hospital

SIX youths were admitted to Santa Ana Hospital in Motril for intoxication after ingesting pieces of a marihuana cake. A girl, who has now been charged with a crime against public health, had prepared the cake for a birthday party which was attended by some 20 people at the Peñon de Salobreña beach, according to the Guardia Civil.

These six began to feel ill, vomiting and losing their sight, and decided to call the emergency services. The youths were released just hours later, except one, who spent the night in the ‘High Risk’ unit.
