Free Padel courses attract young and old

LAST week saw the conclusion of the free padel courses which were held during the month of March at the new Municipal Sports Centre (CDM) in Playa Flamenca on the Orihuela Coast. The courses were fully booked up and were occupied by coastal residents of many nationalities including British, German, Swedish and Dutch.

The ages of those on the course ranged from 25 years to 75 years of age and all were keen to learn how to play the popular Spanish sport of padel.

The courses took place on the three padel courts that are located at the sports centre, which officially opened in November.

The centre also supplied all the equipment free of charge.

Almost all of the people who attended the courses said that they really enjoyed learning the sport and would continue to play it in the future, with some already booking the courts for future use.

For more information about the facilities and classes at the CDM in Orihuela Costa please visit www.cdmorihuelacosta.com or call 965 503 915.
