EASTER IS less than three weeks away and the magazine celebrating Easter Week, Semana Santa has been published and is available. Torrevieja’s International cofradia will again be parading on two different days over Holy Week. Meanwhile work on the new Semana Santa Easter Museum is in an advanced stage.
Located on Habaneras Avenue, next to the Palace of Justice, the new museum has a total area of 4,750 m2, three subterranean levels, five-floors and an attic. In short, this is a modern building designed by the prestigious Alicante, architect Javier Garcia Moreno to give torrevejenses a permanent place to store all the material, costumes, auxiliaries and floats: related to these celebrations.
